  1. I’d just like to be the first to support the idea of some Dirty CAS action, and especially some rigger love in the next season of Missions 😉 Great episode guys.

  2. Hello. I am new to being a gm and rpg pen and paper games. I just picked up the core rulebook and have been listening to your casts on the bus to work, great cast thankyyou! Since me and my friends are massive fans of deus ex and fallout, I thought I’d give shadowrun a try!

I would really appreciate some advice on how I can run my first games smoothly without in a few weeks much without much time to prepare. Is there a story book you would recommend for first timers with a decent length ? How about character creation, should I dwdicate a session to character creation? Or should i make their characters for them based on some back story? Should I print maps?

Any advice from people with your experience on introducing new players would be golden.

Please keep up the good casts!

    Jason

    • Thanks for taking the time to ask us, a few things you can do to get your feet wet. See if there are any Shadowrun missions being run at game stores or conventions around you is a great way to jump in with some exposure to play. A product we can’t stress how amazing is the Digital runners tool kit in this package is some amazing pre generated characters as well as some simplified rules for play and there are 6 written out runs in the package as well. You can easily streng them together into a long term campaign.

Shadowrun Missions are designed to be run for 4 hour sessions so those are also a great way to get your feet wet.

    • There is no street date on the physical copy right now all that is out is the digital edition but it has an amazing price tag of $19.99 with coupons inside if you buy the hard copy from the CGL store that would save you $20.00 on the package of both when they come out in print.
